Three legendary New York brands, P.J. Clarke’s, Brooklyn Brewery, and For Five Coffee Roasters, are taking their first-ever steps into the airport world as part of the highly anticipated Terminal 6 (T6) redevelopment at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The announcement, made jointly by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and JFK Millennium Partners (JMP), highlights the city’s commitment to delivering an authentic “sense of place” for millions of travelers passing through one of the world’s busiest hubs. The new terminal, a $4.2 billion project, forms a major part of the Port Authority’s broader $19 billion transformation of JFK into a world-class global gateway.

Set to open in 2026, Terminal 6 will feature more than a dozen dining options celebrating the flavors and spirit of New York City. “These iconic brands will elevate the passenger experience and add to the uniquely New York sense of place we are creating at JFK International Airport,” said Rick Cotton, Executive Director of the Port Authority. “There is no place like New York, and these notable businesses will help Terminal 6 reflect that unique energy.”

Among the new additions:

  • P.J. Clarke’s, a timeless Manhattan institution dating back to 1884, will anchor the terminal as its flagship restaurant. Known for its classic American fare and storied saloon-style charm, its menu will include signature dishes like the Maine lobster roll, Newport steak frites, and craft beer-battered fish & chips.
  • For Five Coffee Roasters, founded by two childhood friends from Queens, will bring its modern café concept to the main concourse, featuring favorites such as the Gotham Mocha, The Louie cold brew, and a seasonal pumpkin spice latte.
  • Brooklyn Brewery, one of the pioneers of the American craft beer revolution, will open a vibrant airport bar next to Di Fara Pizza and Alidoro in the terminal’s soaring east food hall, complete with an 80-foot oculus skylight.

Restaurant and beverage operator SSP America will manage P.J. Clarke’s and For Five Coffee Roasters, while M&R Concessions will oversee Brooklyn Brewery’s new location.

“We’re proud to bring two iconic brands, P.J. Clarke’s and For Five Coffee Roasters, to one of the world’s most dynamic airports,” said Paul Loupakos, SSP America’s Senior Vice President. “These openings reflect our commitment to delivering authentic, locally inspired dining experiences that celebrate a true taste of place.”

“For almost 40 years, Brooklyn Brewery has called New York home,” added Robin Ottaway, President of Brooklyn Brewery. “Having a presence in JFK’s new Terminal 6 gives travelers from around the world the opportunity to enjoy our beers while on the move.”

When complete, Terminal 6 will introduce a next-generation passenger experience,  blending architectural innovation, sustainability, and world-class hospitality. For travelers, it promises not just a gateway to destinations around the world, but also a taste of the city’s culinary heritage before takeoff.
